The heart behind every jar

Our purpose.

Firehouse Shine Co. was born from a lifelong moonshiner’s passion and a purpose close to his heart. Owner and Master Distiller John Bentz puts his heart into every jar, carrying forward the craft and traditions that have shaped his life.

Created to honor the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for others, Firehouse Shine stands as a tribute to firefighters past and present—and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Every jar reflects the pride, dedication, and heart behind that promise.
